Architecture and town planning projects
Multidisciplinary team
Long-lasting quality

Intelligent construction

Founded in 1992 by Daniel Dethier, who holds qualifications in architecture and town planning, the consultancy Dethier & Associés is led by Daniel Dethier and Renaud Van Kerckhove. In 2010, the office changes name to become Dethier Architectures. Advocating a very open approach, the consultancy favours contact between architecture and other areas of research thanks to a multidisciplinary team, which is regularly supplemented by exterior collaborators. Free of all prejudice, our procedures are characterised by a critical vision allowing us to provide innovative solutions appropriate to today's requirements in fields as varied as the type of habitat in towns and in the country, adding value to our heritage, cultural infrastructures, the development of public areas etc..
From the outset, the consultancy's projects encompass the idea of lasting development and take into account the durability of the constructions. This conduct can be perceived as much in the first houses coming under critical regionalism as in more recent projects implementing the latest technologies specializing in causing minimal impact on the environment.
